Alpine Road to be Reduced to One Lane on 3/28

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during the closure

MACHESNEY PARK, IL (March 27, 2023) – On Tuesday, March 28, the westbound lane of Alpine Road will close in the 9900 block as construction crews complete utility improvements. The closure is expected to last approximately one day with the roadway fully reopening to traffic on March 29. Motorists are urged to avoid the area during the closure and use alternative routes such as Burden Road to Steele Drive. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic during the lane closure.
