The rankings are culled from key measures––year-over-year price increases, total home sales increases, days on market––pulled from MLS Multiple Listing Networks of real estate property listings and sales in the Rockford market.
For Machesney Park, September stats show:
- Median sales price of $200,500 was up 47% over last September
- Total home sales of 26 properties was down 25.7% from last year
- Homes sold in just 7 days, 65% faster than last September, when they sold in an average of 21 days
- Machesney Park median price of $200,500 is 26% lower than a home in Illinois, or $72,100 less. (An average U.S. home sold for $394,300 in September.)
